Lead Technical Artist: The successful applicant will be expected to lead and manage the art requirements for the development of computer games across varying platforms, including Microsoft, Apple, Nintendo and Sony products. This is a demanding role and the applicant must be confident managing their own time, resources and those of the team also. The position requires the artist to have a good knowledge and understanding of the techniques and limitations of cross-platform computer game development and the drive to produce a quality product in a realistic time frame. Not only should the artist have a strong creative flare and a keen eye for detail, but it is essential that they also have an excellent grasp of game logic. It will be fundamental to this role that the artist is capable of integrating assets using our in-house scripting language and software. Anyone with previous experience of a high level scripting language should find this familiar territory. C or C++ experience is not required.

The following key skills are required:

  • Must be fully conversant with Adobe Photoshop in the production of computer game assets.

  • 3D modelling, texturing and basic animation experience. 3D Studio Max and Maya preferable.

  • Programming or scripting experience is required, the ability to adopt our in-house scripting language to implement game assets and logic is essential.
